In the show we discuss Black Swamp Bird Observatory, Biggest Week in American Birding and the various warblers and other birds one might expect to see there, wind mills, the nature guide on which she is working with Kenn, and moose! How nice of Kim to bring up moose, one of my favorite subjects.

Joe Warren discusses spring birdwatching and the annual Gift Show in New York City. I talk about the Big Year’s release on video, the top 10 birds in CT in 2011, and the Bird of the Week, the downy woodpecker.  Take a listen.

As always thanks for supporting Bird Calls Radio. Archives of all shows are available at “Radio Archives” in the menu at the top of this page.
