Bird Calls Radio coming up soon

A brand new Bird Calls Radio show comes at you shortly, from 1 to 2 p.m. today (Sunday, Feb. 26). We will talk about some early signs of spring, some dangers faced by wild birds and what rare birds people are seeing out there in the field. Joe Warren of Wild Birds Unlimited will discuss natural dangers to birds, leading into an in-depth discussion with Jayne Neville about other dangers birds face.

Jayne founded and runs the Mount Vernon Songbird Sanctuary in Connecticut and has rehabilitated thousands of songbirds. We’ll also discuss other bird-related topics as well. Be sure to tune in today at 1 p.m. at 1490 WGCH or “Listen Live” at the top of this site’s homepage.
