Bird walk scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, May 5)

The songbirds are arriving in force, so I will be leading a bird walk tomorrow (Saturday, May 5) morning. We will meet at the Wild Birds Unlimited location at 356 Heights Road in Darien, Connecticut. The store is across from the Noroton Heights train station.

We will meet there at 7 a.m. (I’m letting everybody sleep in a bit!) From Wild Birds Unlimited we will head to a local spot and look for birds such as warblers, orioles, catbirds, grosbeaks, tanagers and whatever else shows up.

Don’t forget to tune into Bird Calls Radio at 1 p.m. on Sunday when I talk with Michael Moccio and Patrick Dugan of Cove Island Wildlife Sanctuary. Patrick has promised to do a variety of his famous bird calls. I can’t wait.
