Coming up on Bird Calls radio program tomorrow (Saturday, July 9): Ducks, ducks, ducks

Ducks will be a theme of Bird Calls radio tomorrow (Saturday, July 9), which airs live 3 to 4 p.m. on WSTC/WNLK AM1400/1350 and worldwide at www.wstcwnlk.com.

Wayne Roberts, regional director of Ducks Unlimited, will talk about his organization’s role in bird conservation and how you can get involved with preserving habatat for ducks and other birdlife.

Joe Warren of Wild Birds Unlimited in Darien and Bedford Hills, NY, Bird Calls major sponsor, will do his regular entertaining spot.

I will discuss ducks, including a recent survey by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and finish a discussion on turtles, among other bird and nature-related topics.
