Cooper's hawk photos: A good start to 2012

Within five minutes of my first bird walk in 2012 I came across this immature Cooper’s hawk at Cove Island Park in Stamford. Needless to say, the songbirds in the park were pretty scarce and quiet. Let’s hope the rest of the year is as successful. Happy birding everyone.
