Crossley ID Guide winner announced
And the winner is … Charlotte from Vermilion, Alberta, Canada. Charlotte (I’m withholding her last name online) won the autographed copy of the Crossley ID Guide. Yes, BirdCallsRadio has an international flair. What can I say?
Remember, the contest was open to birders 18 years and younger. Congratulations to Charlotte. We hope there’s a new life-long birder out there.
A huge thanks to everyone who participated and sent in their entries. Especially with the young birders participating, I wish I could send Crossley ID Guides to everyone who sent me an email. Obviously, I can’t do that. I will, however, send some sort of birding prize to each of the entrants. The youngsters all deserve something and I’m glad they took the time to participate. Happy birding to each of you.
Thanks also to Richard Crossley and Princeton Press for the autographed book.
Oh, and don’t forget a new BirdCallsRadio show is coming up in a few hours. Listen in as we talk with Naturalist Mary Warren of the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, which was named one of the country’s top 10 birding spots. Promises to be a fun show.
BirdCallsRadio airs each Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. on 1490 WGCH and Listen Live above.
I am so excited to have won the Crossley guide, and thank you so much birdcallsradio for this opportunity.
[…] box finally held had what I’d been anxiously awaiting, a parcel slip for the package from Birdcalls Radio. In town, my mother and I picked up the parcel, which I opened as soon as I got back to the truck. […]
Glad it finally got there. Enjoy it!
