Don’t forget to tune into Bird Calls Radio today from 1 to 2 p.m. on 1490 WGCH or “Liven Live” above. We’ll speak with Benjamin Van Doren, a high school senior, who is bound for Cornell University and a future of studying birds. It has been asked where the next generation of conservationists are coming from. Well, here’s part of the answer. Tune in to get his thoughts on the future of conservation and birdwatching.

Ben is a finalist for the Intel Science Talent Search award for his work on nocturnal and morning bird migration. Should be a great show.

I’ll talk more about loons and Joe Warren from Wild Birds Unlimited will join us for a talk about backyard birdwatching.

Thanks for supporting Bird Calls Radio.
