Kevin T. Karlson, wildlife photographer and author of The Shorebird Guide, will be the next guest on BirdCallsRadio. We are very exited to have Kevin join us on the show LIVE this Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m WORLDWIDE Streaming internet or  1490AM WGCH. Listen Live

Karlson has been a wildlife photographer for about 30 years, capturing amazing images from Alaska to South America. His work has been widely published in birding magazines, as well as books and field guides.

His  “The Shorebird Guide”  was written with co-authors Michael O’Brien and Richard Crossley and  released by Houghton Mifflin Co. in April 2006.

“The field guide presents a different approach to field identification based initially upon various nonchangeable impressions before applying details of plumage and feather patterns. It contains 894 photos, many showing comparisons of similar species in real life settings.”

Karlson resides in Cape May, N.J.
