Judy Richardson up next on Bird Calls Radio
Next up on Bird Calls Radio will be Judy Richardson, Master bird bander and Chairman of the Regional board of CT Audubon Society. Judy is in charge of the bird banding station at CT Audubon Birdcraft Museum and has banded thousands of birds in Connecticut and also Costa Rica. She bought property in Costa Rica and established a banding station there.
Why is bird banding important? Listen to Judy and find out. Also, if you’ve never held a bird in your hands, let Judy explain what it feels like. I’ll also ask Judy about bird conservation and getting involved with helping birds. We’ll also discuss what it’s like in Costa Rica.
Judy is well known in the birding world here in Connecticut and I’m sure will be a great interview.
I’ll also chat with Joe Warren from Wild Birds Unlimited in Darien, CT, and Bedford Hills, N.Y.
Be sure and tune in. It will be the final show with WSTC/WNLK, but stay tuned for what’s next.
As always, thanks for checking in with Bird Calls Radio. Be sure to check out Bird Calls Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. on WSTC/WNLK AM1400/1350 (in S. CT and nearby NY) or https://birdcallsradio.com/listen-live/ from anywhere in the world (where there’s Internet access, that is.)
