Patrick Comins will be guest on this week's Bird Calls radio show
Patrick Comins, director of bird conservation for Audubon Connecticut, will be the special guest on Bird Calls Radio this Saturday (Oct. 1). Comins will discuss several recent successes his organization — and others — have had in protecting land for birds. He will talk about IBAs (Important Bird Areas) and perhaps what’s in the pipeline for Audubon Connecticut in terms of bird conservation.
Comins is also an accomplished birdwatcher and will discuss what got him interested in birds.
As always, thanks for checking in with Bird Calls Radio. Be sure to check out Bird Calls every Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. on WSTC/WNLK AM1400/1350 (in S. CT and nearby NY) or https://birdcallsradio.com/listen-live/ from anywhere in the world (where there’s Internet access, that is.)
